Authentic styles of Victorian-era lampshades are now available in kit form, to be constructed by the do-it-yourself crafts enthusiast. The modestly-priced kits are produced by Turn of the Century Lampshades, Inc., a Bend, Oregon manufacturer of custom Victorian Lighting.
Lampshade kits are complete with wire frame, fabrics, lace, fringe, trims, needle, thread, glue to create your own personal Victorian Lampshade.
Virtually anyone who can use a needle and thread can get professional-looking results from their choices of kit styles. In addition to all necessary materials, each kit includes a 60-page booklet with step-by-step instructions as well as 89 photographs to explain the procedure.

These kit styles have cover sheets which explain the material application sequence for each individual frame style. The cover sheet will analyze your frame for you until you can do it on your own. You can then apply that knowledge to other styles in our line which do not have cover sheets.
